Like many people, I believed the degree I chose would determine the rest of my career.

After studying healthcare and earning my graduate degree, I assumed my future would follow a predictable path. Instead, my career took me in a different direction, transitioning from healthcare into tech and building a career across consulting, customer-facing roles, and customer success.

Along the way, I realized something important:

Changing your mind doesn't mean you've made the wrong decision. It's a sign of growth.

Your interests change. Your priorities shift. The version of success you wanted at 22 may not be the same version you want at 32.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is the belief that you need to start over to move forward.
